The representative will take your contact information and provide a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) with a personal reference number for tracking. Keep this document safe. Usually, missing baggage is found within 24 hours, and the airline will contact you to arrange delivery.

To check the status of your lost baggage, simply use the airline’s online baggage tracing system (the World Tracer Tool). The representatives will provide you with all the necessary details when you report your lost bag.

Keep in mind that the number on your baggage tag is not the same as your PIR number.

Baggage Delayed For 3 Days

Many missing bags are found within 24 hours.

However, is important to bear in mind that it could take longer than that, but in the majority of cases, bags are located and delivered within a span of 72 hours.

To conveniently track your baggage online, you can utilize the World Tracer Tool by inputting the provided PIR (Property Irregularity Report) number. This tool allows you to easily monitor the status of your bag throughout the entire process.

If your bag has not been located within 3 days, you can complete an online Baggage Inventory Form. This form will automatically appear when you check the status of your missing baggage online after 3 days. On this form, please provide a detailed list of the contents of your bag. If the original baggage details, such as a baggage label, are no longer visible on the bag itself, the airline can still identify your bag based on your description of the contents.

Reimbursement of Expenses

Please remember that you are eligible for reimbursement of essential expenses, such as toiletries, underwear, and necessary clothing, in the unfortunate event of lost baggage. To ensure a smooth claim process, please keep all receipts for these purchases as they will be required. Please note that only essential items will be considered for reimbursement.

Note that the claim must be filed within 21 days from the date of receiving your bag.
